Shimano SH-M162 Mountain Bike Shoe Description

The Shimano SH-M162 MTB shoe features rugged construction and a versatile design great for riders of all levels.

The tough synthetic leather upper has panels of rubber 'armor' for added durability and protection and mesh vent sections. The sole features big aggressive lugs that are soft enough to provide good traction without being squishy and has a flexible mid-sole great for walking, hiking or even running the barriers in cyclocross. The M162 is also toe spoke compatible for even more traction especially in loose or muddy conditions.

The cleat area is reinforced with carbon to eliminate hot spots and increase pedaling efficiency. Shimano's Volume+ last has a more accommodating toe box, and the shock absorbing and lightweight EVA cushioned insole provides plenty of comfort on and off the bike. Micro-adjust ratchet buckle paired with dual off-set hook-and-loop straps keep the foot secure. Extra-long straps can be cut to preference.
